We have started planning and developing a new default theme for the University’s blog service (blogs.helsinki.fi). The theme determines the layout of the website and, for its part, the user experience – such as colors, fonts, structure and navigation – but does not affect the content.
Our goal is to ensure that the new theme reflects the University’s needs, visual identity and user experience in a way that delivers an intuitive and enjoyable experience for everyone—both creators and readers.
By responding to the survey below, you will have the opportunity to influence the aspects of the planning and development of the new default theme.
Please note:
- The release of the new default theme will be announced later – the planning and development work is still ongoing.
- The new default theme will not automatically replace themes on previous sites and will only be applied automatically to new blogs after the release date.
- Previous blogs can activate the new theme manually from the blog dashboard after it’s release, if desired.
