Important! Please read the following before filling the form:
- Log in at least once to the blog service with your university credentials before requesting a new site. Admin rights cannot be granted unless you do, so please do it now if you haven’t already. You can log in here. The same requirement applies to any users you wish to add to your site in any role (e.g. Administrator, Editor, Author, or Contributor).
- The folder part of the blog/site address must be at least 9 characters long and may contain only lowercase letters (a–z), numbers (0–9), and hyphens (-). Any unsupported characters will be replaced with hyphens (-). If the requested address is fewer than 9 characters long, we will extend it by adding a suitable suffix, such as -blog.
- The use of blogs must comply with the University of Helsinki’s user policies and terms of use. General user policy principals/restrictions apply and you can revise them here. Also, the rules of conduct for the blogging platform can be found here.
- Blog / site requests are usually processed during office hours. Sometimes the requests might take longer, so please have patience.
