The main site of blogs.helsinki.fi has been updated. In addition to the new visual theme, a few new sections have also been added:
Getting started – a compiled overview of essential information about the blog service, intended for newcomers or anyone seeking a concise summary of the service, its requirements, and relevant resources.
Site building – a new quick guide on how to begin creating and publishing content with the new Blogs Helsinki 2026 theme. It includes four independent guides: Block Editor Basics, Cover and Background Images, Navigation Menu, and Templates.
All newly created blogs will use the Blogs Helsinki 2026 theme as the default. Older sites can switch to the new theme via the blog dashboard by navigating to Appearance → Themes.
